Members with Mark Hunter MPThe Youth Action Team (YAT) is an integral part of the Stockport vinvolved team and Youth Action Stockport. The  YAT team has a role to raise awareness of volunteering amongst young people across the 16 - 25 age range and help to inspire new young volunteers to lead, plan organise and participate in volunteering opportunities within charity and public sectors. 

The team also champions youth volunteering across Stockport and nationally and are regularly quoted in press and asked to give presentations. In October 2008 the Youth Action Team were invited to a Parliamentary reception in London to talk to Stockport MPs about volunteering.

The Youth Action Team is made up of young volunteers aged 16 - 25 who will help develop, influence and support the vinvolved team's activity. The team is always looking for new ideas and members, if you would like to find out more click on the role description.
