Staff Development is a vital component to ensuring organisations achieve the most from their personnel. In times of budget cut backs and staff redundancies staff development is still important, but needs to show value for money.

We can help you develop a volunteering policy and set-up a steering panel. We can also match your staff member or department team with an appropriate volunteering activity with a Stockport voluntary organization or community group. To cap it off staff can receive additional certificates for their time volunteering and it's all for free for staff aged 16 - 25 years old.

Stockport Council

Since Autumn 2008 Stockport CVS has been working with Stockport Council to create a Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) Policy for staff. The program has been very successful with a number of employees visiting the Everon Centre to repainted and redesign their garden - see picture above
